Soleus Air dehumidifiers use the newer, more efficient and R-410A refrigerant, and currently all Soleus air dehumidifiers are Energy Star rated. This model removes up to 45 pints of moisture per 24 hours and operates with a digital humidistat for precise humidity control. The continuous mode dehumidifies until the bucket is full to remove as much moisture as possible and has a bucket full indicator with audible alarm alerts when the bucket needs to be emptied. A garden hose connector is included for continuous worry-free gravity drainage, eliminating emptying a bucket. The low-temp operation down to 41 degrees F to reduce freezing during the cold winter months, with automatic defrost. 2/4 hour timer automatically shuts the dehumidifier off and filter indicator alerts users to clean the washable/reusable filter. Another feature is the loss of power protection that remembers all settings when power is interrupted, and offers a auto-restart that automatically restarts the machine when power is restored after a power outage.
